FAQ's
What is Get Stuck On Sports?
Get Stuck On Sports is an online platform run by Dennis Stuckey and Brady Beedon that covers high school sports in the Blue Water/Thumb Coast Area. We cover high school football, boys and girls basketball, hockey, baseball and softball. We broadcast games live, online, in an audio only format. We also have a show releases three times a week where we only talk about local high school athletics, recapping the games that have happened, looking to what is ahead, and interviewing local coaches and players!
So are you the radio?
While we format our live broadcasts and shows similar to a radio broadcast, we are a completely online entity, not affiliated with any radio station. We are only available online.
Does it cost anything to listen?
Get Stuck on Sports is 100% supported by our sponsors! All of our content is free to the listener. If you hear one of our awesome sponsors ad, please consider giving them your business as their support allows us to bring you the coverage the our local high school athletes deserve!
Where can I listen?
Our games are broadcasted through a service called "Mixlr". You can listen by going to the home page here on GetStuckOnSports.com, or by downloading the Mixlr app and searching for "GetStuckonSports". Do not put spaces inbetween when searching on Mixlr. Dennis will always be on stream-1, and Brady will always be on stream-2. For the podcast, we have the latest episode on our home page to listen to. We are also on Apple Podcast and Spotify. There is also a direct link to the show listed in all our social media posts when an episode is released
I couldn't listen to the game live, can I go back and listen?
Absolutely! We archive all of our games. (With a rare exception due to technical difficulties) Just go back to the home page here on GetStuckOnSports.com and find the blue button labeled "Play-by-Play Archive"
When does the podcast come out?
The podcast releases three times a week. During football season it releases every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. All other seasons the show drops on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
What games are you doing?
While games are always subject to change, our planned schedule will be available on the "schedule" tab here on GetStuckOnSports.com. You can also follow us on Twitter(X) and Facebook to get updates and reminders on the games we are doing. You can follow us on Twitter(X) @G_StuckOnSports, and on Facebook at Get Stuck on Sports
Who do you cover?
We cover any school that is in the greater Blue Water/Thumb Coast area of Michigan. However, our main area of coverage is the St Clair County MAC teams, along with the BWAC, and Cardinal Mooney. We will follow some of the Big Thumb schools in St Clair, and Sanilac County, along with Ubly and Harbor Beach (basically the old GTC East) if the circumstances are appropriate.
Why don't you cover (blank) sport?
While we have immense respect for all athletes, there are a variety of reasons why we cover the sports we do. For one, some sports do not translate well to an audio-centric broadcast. Secondly, we are committed to giving as in-depth coverage as possible to the sports we do cover, and we believe adding more to the plate would come at the detriment of that coverage.
When did you start?
Our first broadcast was the fall of 2020. Between then and the end of the 2023-24 school year, we have broadcasted over 1,100 games, and released over 500 episodes of the Get Stuck On Sports Podcast
How do I get in contact?
Dennis and Brady's emails are linked above in their bios.
How do I support?/How do I get my business involved?
If you are a business owner and would like to advertise or support your local high school athletics, please email us at Sales@GetStuckOnSports.com. If you do not own a business but still want to support, simply listening and sharing with your friends and family is a great way to help grow our brand
